Village Planters
We have many people who comment on how lovely the planters and small flower beds look throughout our two villages.  Due to cut-backs, Erewash Borough Council are now no longer able to plant and maintain our planters. The Parish Council have been unable to source companies to supply, plant and maintain these beds within our budget so unless we find volunteers to help, these beds will remain empty. The Parish Council desperately needs your help to ensure that Stanley and Stanley Common stay looking both vibrant and welcoming villages. The Parish Council will provide all plants, seeds, feed and compost, but would love you to be involved in the planting and upkeep of the planters which will include using wildlife-friendly plants and herbs to support our local environment.
