{"id":522,"date":"2020-08-13T23:27:00","date_gmt":"2020-08-13T22:27:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stanleyandstanleycommon-pc.gov.uk\/?p=522"},"modified":"2020-08-13T23:27:03","modified_gmt":"2020-08-13T22:27:03","slug":"coronavirus-mobile-testing-unit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stanleyandstanleycommon-pc.gov.uk\/?p=522","title":{"rendered":"Coronavirus testing site in Ilkeston this weekend"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A pop-up drive-through coronavirus testing site will be in place in Ilkeston town centre this week from Friday 14 August to Monday 17 August 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It follows an appeal by Dean Wallace, Director of Public Health for Derbyshire, for anyone who lives or socialises in Ilkeston and has coronavirus symptoms to get tested after four people who visited some of the town\u2019s pubs on Friday 31 July and Saturday 1 August tested positive for the virus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The drive-through testing site will be at Erewash Borough Council\u2019s car park on Pimlico (postcode DE7 8AA). There will be no parking available in the car park while the testing station is in place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anyone with coronavirus symptoms, no matter how mild, should&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/get-coronavirus-test\">book a coronavirus test<\/a>&nbsp;or call 119.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mr. Wallace said:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cThis is an opportunity for people who live and socialise in and around Ilkeston to act quickly and book a test either tomorrow, Saturday, Sunday or Monday.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cIt\u2019s so important that anyone showing coronavirus symptoms, even if they\u2019re mild, does the right thing and gets tested to help stop the spread of the virus.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A pop-up drive-through coronavirus testing site will be in place in Ilkeston town centre this week from Friday 14 August to Monday 17 August 2020.
