Derbyshire smokers are being urged to quit for 28 days and see the difference that it can make.
October 1 sees the launch of this year’s Stoptober challenge. The annual campaign, run by Public Health England, attracts thousands of people keen to quit.
Research shows that you’re four times more likely to quit with your local stop smoking service.
Live Life Better Derbyshire offers a free stop smoking service for Derbyshire residents.

- one-to-one support
- access to free Nicotine Replacement Therapy including patches, mouth spray, gum, inhalators and lozenges
- access to stop smoking medication on prescription
- advice on stop smoking medications
- useful tools to help you quit
The team will also be holding a series of drop in events across the county. You can find out more about the support on offer, take part in a health MOT and register to take part in the service.
