Stanley Recreation Ground

The Stanley Recreation Ground is home to the Stanley Village Hall as well as hosting play equipment, a trim-trail, a teen shelter and adult exercise machines.

The large Recreation Ground is extensively used by West Hallam Junior Football Club, the largest in the area. However it is available for hire to other local organisations who should get in touch with our Parish Clerk to discuss their requirements.

Recently the Recreation Ground has undergone drainage work to improve the surface, and further improvements are planned.

The Village Hall is run by a Management Committee separately to the Parish Council. If you would like to book the hall or the meeting room please get in touch with their Bookings Secretary, Edith Green, on (0115) 930 2429.
